Car diffusers are to be hung in your rear view mirror- they disperse scent through the wooden lid that acts as a reed. Every time you tip your diffuser to soak the reed with more oil more scent gets dispersed. 

Directions: unscrew wood lid, remove small plastic plug from glass bottle. Do this very carefully and do not spill oil into any surface - it will stain. You should have a paper towel handy when removing plug, holding bottle upright, replace the black lid by screwing it back on. Hang in your rear view mirror using the silver bead as a stopper and then tying the strings. Gently tip the bottle to soak the reed (the wood inside the black decorative cap) and then repeat as needed.

Car freshener products work better when air flow is moving over the product. Generally speaking, the warmer the air and higher the flow, the stronger the scent release.

To use, simply unscrew the lid, remove the cap, secure the lid and tilt slightly to saturate the cork for a strong smelling car perfume. Be careful not to tip too rigorously as it may cause spillage.
